I Can Fix It!
I think that’s what Bob the Builder says anyways. Looks like my iWeb sites are sorta working so I can post multiple images on a web page now.
Lesson learned is to follow the given instructions.
50 Cent Macs Coming?
50 Cent, the rap star responsible for hits like In da Club and Candy Shop, is supposedly in negotiations with Apple to create affordable computers for low income families. True or not, not sure, but you know Steve Jobs is a soul brother at heart.
No confirmed reports that this new affordable “G-Unit” Mac will be outfitted with a bullet proof vest.

Students, Get a Mac
BusinessWeek technology columnist, Stephen Wildstrom, advises students to Pack a Mac this upcoming school year.
Unless you have a compelling reason not to go with a Mac, an Apple laptop or desktop offers the best combination of features, ease of use, and value.
Don’t forget, to sweeten the deal, Apple has its Back to School special going on where you get a free iPod Nano and free printer. Nike has its iPod Sports Kit coming out very soon for your workouts, and if you want a truly versatile computing platform able to run multiple operating systems, look into the Parallels Desktop virtualization software.
Running Vista on a Mac
Read an MSDN developer’s view about the state of Microsoft Vista then if you still want to run Vista, check out the Parallels virtualization software that enables the running of Windows OSes on Intel-based Mac hardware.
For a limited time until July 15, Parallels Desktop is available for $50. Even more reason to get yourself a snazzy MacBook or MacBook Pro.
Help Save Screech
I know all Pulpconnection readers are closet fans of Saved by the Bell. Just admit your guilty pleasure of Zack, Slatter, Screech, Lisa, Kelly, and “Showgirls” Jessie, and let’s move on to the matter at hand, helping to save Screech’s house.
Seems like Dustin Diamond who played the nerdy Screech is in a bit of financial trouble and is trying to raise $250,000 to save his home in Wisconsin. He’s selling t-shirts at $15-20 for this cause. So help out your buddy Screech and order a shirt today.
Google’s Searching the US Government
Google is lending its searching muscle to the US Government by providing a Google search site specific for government-related info. Supposedly dot mil (.mil) domains are included in this search site along with .gov and other federal and state sites.
Hey, this could really help out for work. You and I both know that searching for stuff on work web sites is atrocious!
What Competition?
Starbucks and Jamba Juice will be opening soon in the Coscto Waipio area, right by the existing Seattle’s Best and Planet Smoothie. Now I will have a choice when going on my weekly trip to Costco of where to get a caffeine hit or smoothie fix. All this competition should be good for the consumer, but as Starbucks loyalist Gee Why would say, “What competition?”
All I can say is that Jamba Juice is much better than Planet Smoothie. Orange Dream Machine is a winner.

Failure to Launch
If your flight is showing the movie Failure to Launch, it’d be best to expect some problems…
More Caffeine News
And the news about caffeine and coffee just keeps on coming. Local coffee vendor, Lion Coffee, has three new flavors to sample. These new varieties of their “Imagination” line are meant to invoke childhood memories. The newest additions are Island Grogg, Almond Dobash, and Toasted Marshmallow Cream.
Sounds yummy!
