Got Daft Punk Random Access Memories
After hearing iTunes stream of Daft Punk’s new Random Access Memories, I was sold and bought their latest. Have you? And I hope you didn’t steal the stream.

Since Google announced the sunset of its RSS Reader service, I’m giving NewsBlur a try. Granted RSS has become my distant third option for discovering content and reading news with Facebook and Twitter tied for my online news top spots.
But I do miss the wide capture of my RSS feeds over the year so since RSS is buzzing again, I want to see what I’m missing. NewsBlur adopts the freemium model where you pay annually for advanced features. The free version is good but limited to 64 feeds/sites. I’ve been using the web site so far and it’s very usable. I’m going to test the iOS app next. So far, I’m impressed but I still have a lot to learn. Maybe NewsBlur will be getting another paid customer…
What’s this NewsBlur blog each user gets?
Trendy bag maker, Kipling, has come to Hawaii with its grand opening at Ala Moana. For a limited time, you can win various prizes by participating in in-store games and giveaways. Guess who won something?
Purely by luck, we beat the odds and won this Kipling tote.
Stop by the new store and test your luck. Thanks Kipling!
So am I to believe that by rolling this stick against my tired muscles, its undulations will rejuvenate my body? For real?!? How does it work its magic? I’m tempted to buy one just to see how and if it works.
Anyone out there can vouch for The Stick?
I cannot even believe someone made the “error” of confusing the words, “since” and “sense.” But there it was in an email:
… that has sense been worked out.
I did not quote the entire sentence sense I didn’t feel it necessary. Otherwise, it may have confused your common since. I hope that make scents.
Thanks to @abaggy for forwarding me the email that will mar my english forever.
Now available to pre-order from Amazon, Canon’s new 200-400mm f/4L lens. Features image stabilization, USM for fast autofocusing, and a built-in extender that takes the lens to 280-560mm at f/5.6.
So the price is quite steep, but this is a heck of a lens!
Say what? Sean Combs aka Puff Daddy as Lord Wolcott, the first popolo cast on Downton Abbey? No, not really but check out his parody.
Have you been to the Starbucks location in the Park Shore Hotel in Waikiki? It’s on the corner of Kalakaua and Kapahulu, right across the Honolulu Zoo and features an awesome interior. The focal design point of this store has to be this picture of a wave break.

Once you get past the imagery of the wave then you’ll start to notice the other interior touches.
This location features wood everywhere. The walls, the tables, the displays, and even the ceiling panels are wooden veneered. Don’t forget the added warmth provided by the filament lights. While they don’t emit much usable light, it’s all about the ambiance. If you’re visiting the zoo, cross the street and check out this delightful Starbucks.
I gotta learn to overcome my habit of correcting technical mistakes. So I got an email at work that said something technically incorrect. After indirectly telling the sender about the correction, I get a follow-on email telling me how my correction isn’t a better solution. Umm, I didn’t say it was better, but it is the correct term for the topic at hand.
I shoulda left well enough alone. Even after a venti mocha and a nap, I feel exhausted from this wasted effort.
My hunt for LEGO minifigures series 10 is now done. While I don’t have the entire set, I have the ones wanted. I finally found Medusa and the librarian and also picked up the baseball player and paintball guy.
Medusa was really hard to find. I think since she’s easily recognizable, collectors nab her fast. I must say her tail is exquisite. It’s not short and stumpy but a long, windy tail. I was surprised how difficult it was to find the librarian. Keying on the coffee mug, I identified so many grandpas but only this one librarian. It’s all in the hair.
The baseball guy is common. Feel for his glove which is permanently attached to his arm. The paintball dude was kinda easy to identify with his bulky helmet. Once you feel that, you can verify by searching for his paintball gun.
