First DWTS Casualty is Gone Gone
In the first two weeks of Dancing with the Stars, there are several frontrunners. Olympian Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft spurned by the Bachelor, and Gilles Marini are leading the dance pack.
The gymnastic flexibility showed itself in Shawn’s salsa. Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani got the crowd going with their salsa to the “Cup of Life” which set the stage for Clark Kent/Superman Gilles Marini dancing the quickstep with Cheryl Burke.
The surprise of the first elimination is former Go-Go, Belinda Carlisle, is gone gone. Steve Wozniak pulled out another week, undoubtedly thanks to the nerds of the world. Even the injured Steve-O who couldn’t perform lasted another week.

In iPhone and the Cloud I Trust
For an upcoming trip, I won’t have access to a computer which is a rarity. Instead, I’ll be relying on my iPhone with data stored in “the cloud.” The AT&T 3G network will be my access to the cloud.
I’ll be using the iPhone’s GPS along with Google Maps for directions. I hope to be blogging while on travel and will be using the WordPress iPhone app for that. I might also integrate my Twitter account with Pulpconnection via Twitter Tools so any tweet becomes a blog entry. Unfortunately, blogged pictures will be taken with the iPhone camera which ain’t the greatest. Better pictures will have to wait until later.
I haven’t completely tricked out my iPhone with geo/location or travel apps, but I have added some useful ones like this Disney park guide. Anyone have any recommendations for useful travel iPhone apps?
No Online Sales of Girl Scout Cookies?
Apparently, you can’t sell the famous Girl Scout Cookies online. Even though there’s a lot of sales to be had.
Good thing my weak effort proved fruitless, we didn’t break policy. 😉

So many colorway variations are possible as a team shoe.
Memphis Now Rocking the Swoosh?
Missed this, but there’s been a change in the kicksology of the NCAAs with Memphis dropping Adidas for Nike. The Tigers now rock the swoosh, not the three stripes. In fact, here is a special makeup of the Nike Team Hyperdunk adorned with the Tigers “Refuse to Lose (RTL)” motto.
Must rethink my bracket with this drastic change…
Woz Willn’t, Won’t He?
What?! Steve Wozniak wurt wis weg? Wep, weems wo. In yet another injury on Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars, Woz fractured his leg during practice.
Will he continue on or be forced out due to injury ala Jewel and Nancy O’Dell? Will this injury affect his performance? What can he do? Barry Bonds, A-Rod, Mark McGuire, Jason Giambi, Roger Clemens, the Tabasco Man, any suggestions what Woz can do to overcome this physical handicap?
