At Home Depot… Again
This must have been our seventh trip to Home Depot in the last two weeks. And I know we’re not done yet.

My favorite feed aggregator/reader, NetNewsWire, has been updated to version 3.0. I’m trying to figure out the upgrade path and cost from my 2.x version. Is this a free upgrade? Hmmm, can’t seem to find any pricing info on upgrades.
New NetNewsWire purchases (with 1 year NewsGator Online Premium) are $30.

Okay, I must stop my Mr. Potato Head addiction! Look at this Mr. Potato Head Transformers Optimash Prime made after the Transformers’ Optimus Prime.

Just purchased Maroon 5’s latest offering, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, and after limited listening time, I’m liking it. Read good things about this CD, and although I wasn’t a fan of Maroon 5 before, I took a chance and bought it anyway.
So far so good! Fast and bright is my initial description. There’s a feel of Jamiroquai and Justin Timberlake in the tracks. Good stuff!

Now while wearing the Soldiers, LeBron is going to the NBA Finals to meet the Spurs.

After finishing dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Kailua, me and the fam were headed out. As I reached for the door handle, I see this face on the other side of the door, and there was a voice in my head.

Ai carumba! It was Desmond from Lost starring back at me. Unfortunately, I pulled a blank remembering Desmond’s real name (which is Henry Ian Cusick by the way). I had my camera and asked if he were willing to take a picture, but he politely declined saying he was late for dinner with his family. So he didn’t really diss us and was nice about it, but it would’ve been way cool to add to our Lost collection.

Went to look at furniture at the new Honolulu Design Center on Kapiolani Boulevard. This modern, stylistic center contains many vendors like:
More impressively, there’s a wide range of food options inside the center. You can choose from:
Overall, a very interesting place to shop.
My oh my, how the face of Windward Mall is changing. I’ve made the comment once or twice that Windward Mall is a financial deathtrap, but it looks like the Mall has a pulse that’s only getting stronger. There’s the addition of several stores and restaurants, but the interior look of the Mall is upscaling similar to that of Uptown Pearlridge. Etched glass lines the second floor railings, cushy seating areas are now available, and everything looks more hip. Here’s a quick peek.
And to revive an old poll, I ask, “What’s your favorite Hawaii shopping mall?
