A man is wants to sue Apple because the iPod may cause hearing loss and there are no warnings labels to warn the consumer. Apple has settled a class action suit before. I guess if McDonalds has to put warnings on the apple pie and coffee being hot, then Apple might have to warn these fools about hearing loss.
Apple did pull their iPods in France to upgrade the software to limit the sound level to 100 decibels. Currently the iPods can produce sounds above 115 decibels.
I think I got the logic statement correct where leadership does not equal the boss. According to this article, leaders can be anywhere in your organization without any formal, official titles but still have an impact within the organization.
The reality is that 99 percent of all leadership occurs not from the top but from the middle of an organization. You can learn to develop your influence from wherever you are in the organization.

Just read about the iTunes U service targeted at educational institutions. Schools can place educational material on-line on a customized iTunes site. Students can then access and download the information from anywhere at anytime.
Why couldn’t this be adopted for work purposes? I’ve already taken many on-line courses for work. Too bad these work courses couldn’t be consolidated and published via the iTunes U service. This would open the door to justify an iPod. 😉

CNN and CareerBuilder.com want to help your resume by providing 25 words that could actually do more harm than good. The underlying theme is to provide specific examples of your work and its impact rather than using these words to summarize your deeds.
So if you are an aggressive, efficient, motivated team player then maybe it’s time to relook your resume. I’ll keep this in mind while revising my resume.
