Cherry on Top Froyo, Why Not?
I was just saying that Hawaii doesn’t have enough froyo spots on this island, and look what we get! Cherry on Top frozen yogurt is coming to Hawaii in the Pearl City area across of Walmart.
Their flavors sound good, and they have to be in order to keep pace in the Froyo Wars. Who’s winning? Yogurtland? Menchies? Orange Tree, no wait, Orange Grove? Milano Freezer? Cerealremix? Oh wait, they don’t serve froyo… yet. 😉
A Trance Role Reversal
Now this is a role reversal. Armin van Buuren’s State of Trance 2010 released this week and is available from Amazon and iTunes. The Amazon version is a continuous mix of songs while iTunes sells the individual tracks along with the continuous mix. Usually, it’s the other way around.
So $10 on Amazon for a continuous mix that you can’t skip songs or $16 on iTunes for the individual 31 tracks (including the mixes)… If you’ve ever worked out with a continuous mix, you know the hassles of being stuck with sucky songs and trying to fast forward through it but not skip to the next track on your playlist.
Save the Forests with Coffee
On Thursday, April 15, you can save our forests by cutting back on paper cups. To help this cause, Starbucks is giving away free brewed coffee if you bring in a reusable travel mug.

Cerealremix Followup
Just a quick followup after hitting up Cerealremix this morning. If you remember, I had some suggestions for this new cereal bar in my initial review.
- Steel cut oatmeal with azuki beans. Check and still a winner!
- Parking validation. Check.
- Gone with the funky tasting fruit. Check.
- Listening to their customers. Check and double check!! Modified store hours to accommodate customers. New non-cereal lunch items.

Now this was a welcomed surprise. Klout.com tagged me as an influence on Twitter coffee discussions, and as part of a new experimental promotion, gave me samples of Starbucks coffee. Cool!
No, I didn’t solicit Klout for anything, I just blog and tweet about Starbucks… a lot I suppose. So waiting at home, I found a delivery containing Starbucks’ Pike Place Roast, the bold Caffe Verona, and some coupons.
Oh, and since I did receive these goodies free of charge, I have to disclose that fact. But really, how can you complain about getting free goodies about something you enjoy and love? And how can you not appreciate a company for rewarding its customers? So kudos to Klout and Starbucks for a great partnership and promotion!
Now excuse me as a brew my cup of morning coffee. Will it be Pike Place or Verona? 🙂
