Packed Tuesday Night TV
Lots of TV shows on Tuesday nights. Bones made the Top 10 most watched shows last week. Nip/Tuck is starting up. Commander-in-Chief is premiering soon. And tonight was the Dancing With the Stars Rematch. Mr. Peterman better win this one after his all 10’s performance.
Work, You Gotta Love It
So right before the end of the workday, I get a request to establish a web site or web server ASAP. I dug in, reached around, but couldn’t pull one out of my a$$. Oh well…

Nip/Tuck Starting Up
Season 3 of Nip/Tuck begins tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 30 on FX. Get ready for another season of messed up entertainment.

Lifestylin’ with Safeway and Jordan
“Lifestyle” themes appear to be the latest trend in marketing. Safeway is renovating its stores with its Lifestyle look with the Hawaii Kai branch being the first in Hawaii. I guess with the Safeway Lifestyle remodeling comes the chocolatey fruity goodness of Coffeemate’s Chocolate Raspberry creamer. Went to the old school Safeways in Aiea and Kailua, and none of these had the goods.
Nike’s Jordan Brand also introduced its Lifestyle lineup featuring Carmelo Anthony, Quentin Richardson, and Terrell Owens. This clothing campaign is inspired by the early days of MJ and “challenges us to learn the Jordan Way of Life by being authentic, never compromising, earning excellence and aspiring to greatness.” Corny, yeah, yeah, I know.
Sadly though, I think if you saw Jordan’s Lifestyle trio (sports reputation aside) walking the aisles of your local lifestyled Safeway, you’d think you have to change your lifestyle, or at least markets. I’m just saying.
Yuta Tabuse Back in the NBA
The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Yuta Tabuse, the first Japanese born player in the NBA to their squad. Hopefully, the 5-9 guard retains a spot with the Clips.
Nike gotta show some love and market his signature Zoom Air Tabuse shoes.
