Just updating the original March Madness 2007 Kicks Analysis by correcting the unknown status of Creighton and Jackson State. Both teams wear Nikes although both teams have been eliminated from the Tourney.

By now you know how many Big Dance teams are wearing what brand of kicks and you also know how the 2007 bracket looks with respect to sneaks. How do the conference shoe sponsorships look? Well, they look like this:
For comparison, take a look at the conference shoe sponsorships for March Madness 2006.
Remember when Lost was filming at Club 939? That episode is scheduled to air on March 28 which makes it Episode 14, titled Exposé.
If you want a sneak peek of the filming done in Hawaii’s Hottest Gentlemen’s Club, then check out an ABC Lost trailer on YouTube. Watch closely at the 25-24 second countdown mark cause it goes quick.
You think Club 939 will have a Lost viewing party for this episode?

Although the games have begun, and it’s too late to change your picks, here is a look at this year’s brackets along with their respective shoe sponsorships.
And just remember that teams wearing Nikes have won 85% of the championships since 2000.
In 2006, the Final Four consisted of three Nike teams (George Mason, LSU, and Florida) and one Adidas squad in UCLA.
It’s time for the madness to begin, and like last year, I’ll be keeping an eye out on the kicks worn during the NCAA Tournament. Why check out the various kicks? Well, because in recent history, teams wearing Nike’s swoosh have been the champions 6 of the last 7 times. The kicks don’t lie!
So without further delay, I present the 2007 March Madness Kicks Analysis.
Nike continues to dominate team sponsorships, upping their count to 44 teams this year compared to 42 teams in 2006. Adidas is a distant second with 15 sponsorships, followed by Reebok (Boston College and Niagara), and only Winthrop rocking New Balance. And1 failed to make a showing this year. I must admit that I missed two teams, Jackson State and Creighton, and can’t yet determine their sponsorships. After these teams play their first round games, there’ll be enough footage to correct these errors.
I used to watch the Transformers on TV while growing up and heard about an upcoming movie. Looks like this movie was a little too hot to handle getting an initial rating of R by the MPAA. The Transformers rated R?? What’s with that?
Too much violence? Do transforming robots bleed?
Nudity or some type of robo-porn? Are there even female/opposite gender Transformers? Or is it same sex kind of robo-lust?
Nope, the R rating was for being too intense. Yes, intense which has been described as “…sheer intensity. It’s aneurysm-inducing.”
Executive Producer, Steven Spielberg, appealed the rating and got a tame PG-13 instead. But, he had to cut out that scene where Megatron shows off his megatron.
Before my codeine-laced cough syrup knocks me out, how about an old school flashback to the great movie, The Last Dragon. Here are twelve top notch lines from the movie (along with video clips!).
The number 1 quote is of course the best. Who is the Master? Sho ’nuff!
Taimak, Vanity, Bruce Leroy – what a cast of greats! You got that glow?
Usually when the madness of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament starts up, Nike (and other shoe companies) releases a new pair of sneaks for the teams in the tournament. This year, the Air Force 25 must be the shoe of choice (but it is kinda expensive for a team shoe).
Here are a few pics of the “Be True” Pack featuring AF25 colorways for championship teams.
Cincinnati
Too much patent leather for me but a very distinctive look on the court.

Nike continues to push crazy designs for young (and naive) LeBron James. Check out this dope “Family Sized” colorway of his Zoom LeBron IV.
Going back to the classics, LeBron is also part of the New Six, the six NBA ballers representing the second coming of the Air Force 1 25th Anniversary. Here are pics of the AF1 XXV Anniversary Supreme ’07 New Six: LeBron James Low.
These retros feature a visible Nike Air system and go on sale this Saturday at Kicks Hawaii.
Don’t know the price of either, but they must be crazy expensive!!
