Personally Calling Out Google Gigabit
The entire state of Hawaii is campaigning for Google’s Fiber for Communities project with the goal of bringing ultra high speed network access to selected communities. Can you imagine gigabit speeds to your home?
I can’t, and I doubt Google can deliver on this promise. A 100x network speed increase? When donkeys fly! as Flo would say.
Prove me wrong Google and jack Pulp HQ into the matrix. I dare you! I double dare you!! I even triple dare you!!!
Heck, I’ll even throw in my Practical Peripherals PM2400SA modem in exchange.

On Second Thought… Coach Jellybean
After giving the idea of Joe Bryant applying for the Head Coach position for UH men’s bball, there’s definite business merit to this. UH Athletics has been saying they have to run their programs more like a business and that the buyout of Coach Nash’s current contract is a business decision.
Hiring Coach Jellybean could be a business windfall. Just imagine what would happen if son Kobe starts donning UH gear. A few pics of him in public and UH gear sales would definitely climb. Just imagine a photo like this but wearing Hawaii colors.
And what would happen if Kobe could manage a visit to the Stanley for a UH game? Schedule conflicts aside, his appearance would bring in the crowds. And how about Dad arranging some “casual” pickup games with UH players and #24 who might bring some yellow and purple friends. Kanye West would be there.
The UH basketball program would, of course, have to change from Converse to Nike so the team could rock some green orange Zoom Kobe V’s.
