Starbucks on the High Seas

It’s so obvious, it’s a wonder this took so long! Soon enough, you can enjoy Starbucks coffee on the high seas with a full fledged Starbucks bar on Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas.

Yes, these super cruise liners serve coffee and most even have their own specialty coffee bars, but you couldn’t get an authentic Frappuccino or Caramel Macchiato.  I’d be afraid of the prices though, and since you charge everything to your state room, the ease of buying can easily rack up a sizable caffeinated bill!

Is It Time to Panic?

Dear readers, I don’t want to alarm you just yet, but have you heard of Near Earth Objects? Think of Bruce Willis in Armageddon with an asteroid approaching Earth with potentially devastating effects – that’s the concern over NEOs.

Fortunately, NASA is scouring the vastness of outer space and has not identified any dangerous NEOs. Unfortunately, there’s no plan to handle a NEO if one were found. 🙁

So what would you do? Head on over to Club 939 and party hardy?

Steve Jobs Secretly ‘Hearts’ the Thundercats

You can’t deny the facts any longer. Steve Jobs secretly loves the Thundercats. Let’s take a look at the code names for Mac OS X releases, and you tell me if you see any Thundercats similarities:

  • Cheetah (Cheetara)
  • Puma
  • Jaguar (Jaga)
  • Panther (Panthro)
  • Tiger (Tygra)
  • Leopard (WillyKit, creatively speaking)
  • Snow Leopard (WillyKat, creatively speaking)

And announced today is Mac OS X “Lion” aka Lion-O, Lord of the Thundercats.

Sorta. Apple’s newest version of iLife, the 2011 edition, will be available at Amazon.com soon enough. While the product is listed, it’s also temporarily out of stock, but if you can wait a bit, you’ll soon be enjoying all the new features of iPhoto, iMovie, and Garageband.
