New DVD Copy Protection
If you have a new DVD (such as Iron Man 2), its digital content is protected with the addition of bogus tracks. MacWorld discusses this and tells you how to find THE real deal.

Sesame Street’s Grover teaches you the word “on” in this Old Spice spoof. Look at him, now look away, look back at him.
Good for you if you waited to purchase Katy Perry’s newest release, Teenage Dream. After three weeks on the airwaves, Teenage Dream is on special for a limited time at Amazon. For only $3.99, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. My favorite is Last Friday Night but all the tracks are definitely re-listenable.
Local designer Andy South won this week’s Project Runway challenge, and his sportswear creation is featured on Amazon.com. Own Andy’s design, part of Heidi Klum’s New Balance active wear line.
The Biebs is in the 808 and is tweeting away!
Hawaii is just too nice. only problem i had so far is got nailed by a wave body boarding….and that is not a problem
Dear golly, Nuts mania is rampant. Now Kukui High, the fictitious school in Hawaii Five-0 has its own alma mater.
I don’t want to know what a shirtless Jimmy Borges is doing with his hands while singing “Grab your nuts and don’t be shy!”
I’ve always wanted Dr. Dre “Beats” headphones, and maybe now is the time with the announcement of the JustBeats. Yes, this acclaimed audiophile line is introducing Justin Bieber inspired headphones because as you know, Justin believes “sound is the emotion between us.”
Did that make your heart flutter? No? Then that $199.95 price tag will!
Okay, really, I’m digging the sports-focused PowerBeats. $179.95, yikes!
Yep, I’ve gone nuts, picking up a few Kukui High “Go Nuts!” bumper stickers.
Thanks to @hawaii and @valdezign for the fun!
Could it be Dancing with the Stars is appealing to a younger, hipper audience? In seasons past, the youth movement wasn’t as big on the competition featuring B-listers, former stars, and (mostly) retired sports jocks. But check out the early results in Season 11.
Week 1, internationally infamous David Hasselhoff is out. Both you and I know the Hoff as Michael Knight and Mitch Buchannon, but today’s kids are like, “that burger-eating drunk on YouTube?”
Week 2 saw 80’s crooner Michael Bolton in the elimination spotlight. Maybe kids would have recognized him if he still had his CD signature long locks.
So what can we extrapolate for Week 3, Story Night? Jennifer Grey will be safe with her Harry Potter routine. Oh, that’s not Harry Potter? Oh well, close enough for the kids. Kurt Warner will be there next week (and I think he can still take a NFL snap or two). Kyle Massey? Disney got his back.
Margaret Cho is in danger but exuding gay pride this week, she might get new allies. Cheryl Burke now has partner Rick Fox disrobing while dancing (and his gf Eliza Dushku in the audience). It’s a successful strategy.
Audrina Patridge waltzed her way to the top this week, and if it is true, the young, hip voters will keep Bristol Palin and “The Situation” dancing. I mean how else has this greasy french fry stuck around?
So that leaves Florence Henderson. Mrs. Brady is an icon, but will her emotional Sound of Music waltz resonate with the young’ens?
