Apple Store Waikiki Opens This Week
Waikiki is finally getting its Apple Store this Saturday. First 1000 visitors to the new Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center location will get a collectible Apple shirt.

Just Tacos is Just Okay
A new Just Tacos opened up near work so I gave it a try. Eh, just okay. Nothing fancy, nothing great, just okay. I wasn’t in the mood for a belly busting lunch so I got the two tacos plate. The “two” taco tortillas overlap so really, it’s like one extended soft taco. See for yourself.
Cost was $5 and I was warned advised that the dish is prepared plain so I’d need to hit the spice bar to give it some kick.
Even though the meal looked small, I was full. Would I go back again? Probably not.

There’s another blogging platform now freely available to the public. Check out On Sugar for some sweet blogging.
On Sugar is easy to use and pretty flexible. The admin interface is simply but provides all the necessities. You can change between various themes, design your own theme, add popular widgets, have multiple authors, and more.

The Weekend in Pics – Baby Emporium, Mana Bu’s, Whole Foods
Pictures from the weekend. Checked out new infant car seats at the expanded Baby Emporium.
Went to Mana Bu’s for lunch. By the time we got there, they were pretty much wiped out, but we had to get something after reading this detailed review.
Parking is atrocious. The white rice musubis were already gone, and when things go, you’re pretty much out of luck.
The 10 Grains musubis weren’t too bad.
Lastly, off to the recently opened Whole Food Market in Kahala Mall. Was crowded(!) with umm, characters. Some interesting types shop at this healthier marketplace. I shoulda stuck with Starbucks coffee which is right across the way. The iced mocha from the Allegro coffee bar needed some help.

Breaking up Bill and Jerry
Is it really over already? Many sites are saying that the Microsoft ads featuring Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld have been cancelled.
Not understanding the point of these commercials is the widely accepted reason for the cancellation. I was confused by the first ad at the shoe store. The second one was fun but still aimless.
I did like Bill’s dancing moves though. I was hoping to see him do the Sprinkler move in future commercials. I guess not…
