Eminem Custom Designed Nikes
Being a megastar sure has its privileges! Rapper Eminem has collaborated with Nike to custom design his own line of Nike kicks. He went with the Air Max line and did 8 designs. These designs won’t be publicly available though. Instead, Eminem is auctioning off 64 pairs of these custom kicks to help support his Marshall Mathers Foundation and ninemillion.org.
Make your bid for Em’s designs on Thursday at Niketown London or on eBay for you non-world travelers. I need to find pics of these kicks!

New Balance Kicks
After seeing Russell Tanoue in action wearing his fly New Balance kicks, I’m kinda liking the updated retro look of these shoes. Kicks Hawaii is featuring this new colorway of the New Balance 574.
Part of the Varsity Pack, it’s reminiscent of those high school letterman jackets. Nice!
Google’s a Growin’
Hmmm, Google is taking a bigger step into the corporate world with their Google Apps for Your Domain offering. This suite includes Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, and Page Creator, covering all the basic needs for an organization. Email, check. Scheduling, check. Instant messaging/chat, check. Building web pages, check.
A good way to start your virtual office.

Russell Tanoue in Action (Sorta)
After going to the Aquarium, we decided to stroll around Waikiki since we’re rarely in the neighborhood. As we start our walk right outside of the Aquarium, I see this dude wearing some fly New Balance kicks (shoe fanatics see shoes first before faces). Then it hit me. That’s none other than the Tabasco Man’s idol, Russell Tanoue.
I guess he’s doing a photo shoot since a model appears a few seconds later.
We continue our walk for several minutes then head back towards the car. We pass by Russell again who looks like he finished shooting. I think that guy by the truck was getting a sampling of Russell Tanoue in action (or of the model who went topless!).
Went to the Waikiki Aquarium
Went to the Waikiki Aquarium to show our daughter different kinds of fish since she seems to like them. Haven’t been to the Aquarium for years, so it was kinda neat to see what was there again. The jellyfish are fun to watch floating around.
There’s some big fish on display.
I never heard of or seen a sea dragon before, but they look weird.
The seals were swimming around and having fun.
All in all, an enjoyable outing saying hi to the fish.
Drowning in Ineptness
User: I need help printing.
Me: What’s the matter?
User: I can’t print.
Me: What kind of problems are you having? (trying to find out a little bit more to help troubleshoot)
User: The printer says out and gives me an error, and the other one crinkles the paper.
Me: Okay. Let’s go take a look.
Me (looking at an inkjet printer): How do you turn this on?
User: You just turn it on. (I deserved that one)
Me (pushing the power button): Hmm, it’s not going on.
User (jiggling the power cord): Sometimes I have to jiggle the power cord since it gets loose.
Printer starts printing.
Aaaaaahhhhhh!!! I’m drowning in ineptness! I think the Tabasco Man may have been right when he hinted that private school alumni are cocky.
The Escalade 2007 is Pimpin’!
Yeah, the 2007 Lexus ES350 is nice, but the 2007 Cadillac Escalade is downright pimpin’. Just check’um.

Another Battlestar Galactica Season 3 Preview

I like the way the show centers around the problems and issues of its characters rather than simply making it a humans versus Cylons battle. The human shortcomings are the reason why the Cylons exist in the first place.
