Chee!
According to Kicks HI in collaboration with NMLS World, Chee! means:
The state of being stimulated, refreshed, or elated.
An exclamation of excitement that really has no real meaning said down here in Hawai’i. If you know, you know.
And I’ll take their word for it, especially with awesomely designed duds emblazoned with Chee! Everyone needs some Chee! in their lives, and I doubt there can there be too much Chee!
Matching Kicks and Clothes
Don’t get me wrong. I actually do like these Adidas ZX Flux “Mythology” in subtle black and white.

But you might as well go over the top and match these kicks with this gaudy shirt I found at Ross (and it’s on sale!!). Go godly or go home!
Pull-a-Part Twice a Year?
I can’t confirm this, but according to a Costco employee, they only make these Cinnamon Pull-a-Parts twice a year. Now and some other time she couldn’t remember. So I would be a little skeptical about this twice-a-year availability. But what you do have to know is that these are yummy. Soft and not too sweet (but it is sweet).
Best you buy a tray or two to sample these yourself since you never know when you may see these again.
How to Get Teased by a Clover?
You visit the Aina Haina Starbucks location with the only Clover Brewing System on Oahu and learn that it’s still not in production. Only this time, it’s not the hardware; it’s the “software.” As in the workers aren’t trained to operate the Clover.
Sad but then again, patience is a virtue I hear. And an iced coffee stylized in the Waterlogue app is pretty cool looking.

Cool Tea Names and an Oat Cake
Starbucks latest line of teas has some cool names. We’re talking Royal English Breakfast, Passion Tango, Youthberry, and Pineapple Kona Pop.
Then there’s this Hawaii-themed oat cake. Yeah, I’ll pass on that lava rock of an oat cake, and what makes it “Hawaii” anyways?
ShedRain Umbrellas (and More) at Costco

What else did I spy at Costco Hawaii Kai edition? Lactaid milk is available, but not at the Waipio location (I checked). More good news, this Lactaid lactose-free milk doesn’t taste like a cow. Can you stock up and freeze milk??

Check out these fun puzzles. Watch the piece count though since there are 100, 500, and 1000-piece puzzles available. The Hawaii-themed ones are pretty cool.
Lastly, for you mayo lovers, this is for you. A whole “vat” of mayo, Just Mayo. I feel so greasy all of a sudden.
Bonus! For big kids, there’s this toy horse just in time for Christmas.
No “Breastaurant” Planned for Hawaii

breastaurant restaurant’s mountain lodge motif simply won’t work here, right? I mean who in Hawaii really gets the mountain lodge vibe and needs the “attentive service sector?” Can’t you get a Dirty Blonde and Knotty Brunette at other local places like Club 939?
Haunted by the AT&T Ringtone
Imaging hearing this audio sound again and again but very faintly. Eventually, it’ll drive you crazy.
[audio:https://www.pulpconnection.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Attringtone.mp3]That’s what haunted me as my LG G3 Android phone was stuck playing this tune. The screen wasn’t responsive, the phone was getting hot, but I would hear that AT&T ringtone every few minutes indicating some function. Not knowing what was going on, I now understand why I had to initially install the battery – so I knew how to remove the battery for situations like this.
I removed the massive battery and let the phone sit for a few seconds. After reinstalling the battery and powering up, the phone behaved as normal though the full charge was now at 76%. I think there are few things I need to learn about the LG G3.
I Braved the Arashi Blast
No, I didn’t go to the Arashi Blast in Hawaii concerts this past weekend, but I did brave the second best place, Ala Moana Center. You couldn’t escape Arashi while walking the mall, especially the Shirokiya end. Here’s front and center of Shirokiya.

Across the way at LeSportsac.
By the koi ponds. Many tourists were taking pictures here.
Arashi was multilevel as well.
Wait, another Arashi banner?!? Excuse me as I now had to take a selfie.
Even those kiosks selling magic skirts wanted to capitalize on the Arashi spending, welcoming guests.
I am a little bummed I couldn’t find the glorious Arashi hooded towels at a discounted price. It was so hot at Ala Moana, the protection from the hooded towel would have been welcomed.
The Arashi Hooded Towel Is Glorious

The hoods provided protection from the directly overhead sun, and the wearers used the towel portion to wick away that humidity-induced sweat. That right there is the beauty of the Arashi hooded towels, and you too can own this marvel for only $95 on eBay.
