Consider becoming a music DJ and get good enough to mix in Las Vegas. Your payout? Potentially $46 million in a year. That’s $46,000,000.00. $200,000 per show ain’t too shabby at all.
Mot Juste. Exactly.
Someone at work pointed out this “word” – mot juste. Mot juste is simply defined as:
the exactly right word or phrasing
I doubt I’ll ever use this word though. If I said it, people would probably think I mangled the word “mojo.” But I’d love to hear if you were able to work in some mot juste.
Pulpconnection Has a Pulse
Seems like Pulpconnection has a pulse now, actually being more responsive and not timing out. Could it be things are fixed?
But the damage to Pulpconnection’s blogging ranks is probably already done. Only way to climb the ranks is to keep blogging. Just Do It!
25 Years of Just Do It
Twenty five years ago Nike unveiled its “Just Do It” campaign. 25 years! Check out the commemorative anniversary video and wait for the Asian baller.
Conspiring Against Pulpconnection
Oh, I see what’s going on here. Someone’s conspiring against Pulpconnection to lower its blog ranking over on BlogRank, right? I mean Pulpconnection has been ever so slowly climbing the BlogRank charts, so “they” needed to take action by disrupting services and thereby affecting my rank.
Well…maybe the reason for the prolonged outage isn’t nefarious, but it makes for a good fantasy. I am surprised to see that Pulpconnection made some gains in the various ranking scales of BlogRank, hitting the 15th spot in the ultimate rank for Hawaii blogs.

Oh yeah, the site is still slow. Sorry. 🙁
Prolonged Pulpconnection Outage
Sorry for the off-and-on behavior of Pulpconnection for the past few days. There’s been a prolonged outage as my server on Dreamhost is getting fixed. First there was a planned behind-the-scenes migration for my Dreamhost server. But then, there was an unexpected hardware issue. Because of this, Pulpconnection has been coming and going as things are being fixed.
Hopefully the situation stabilizes soon.
DCL Tip: Strong Magnets
If you’ve looked at Disney discussion boards like Disboards.com to prepare for a Disney cruise, you might have seen forum posts about decorating the magnetic stateroom doors. While I can vouch that it is possible, my tip is to use strong magnets, really strong magnets.
The stateroom doors on the Disney Wonder are thick and barely magnetic. Large surface area magnets like a flat sheet work well, but smaller “button” magnets are easily dislodged. When your door slams, the average magnet will fall off, littering the hallway. Strong Like Bull magnets would definitely stick, but at their value, I wouldn’t leave these unattended.
Bring along extra magnets if possible and also tape to attach them to your door decorations. Even though we tested our decorations on a refrigerator, they didn’t stick to the Disney doors without extra magnets added on.
Here’s our door that was remade several times after our decorations fell off.

Oh, don’t forget Disney’s policy that you can’t use any type of adhesives (like tape) on the door themselves.
Reviewed AAA Sportfishing Company
To help plan for trips and vacations, I’ve been using TripAdvisor more and more. This service provides great user-contributed reviews and suggests local activities. After a great experience fishing with Captain Jerry of AAA Sportfishing Co in Ketchikan, Alaska, I had to provide a review.
Here’s my very first TripAdvisor review – “Changed my view of fishing!”
