Don’t know why, but a bunch of 5th graders decided to reenact the video of Devo’s classic Whip It. Watch it on-line and whip it good!
How could this song not make the Most Memorable Song Lyrics list?
Not to be outdone by Schick’s 4-blade Quattro, Gillette is going to introduce its 5-blade bad boy called the Fusion.
Gillette offered the 3-bladed Mach3 razor in 1998. Then, Schick followed with the four-bladed Quattro five years later. Now three years after the Quattro, the Fusion will lead the market with 5 blades. So it took 8 years to figure out how to squeeze two more blades on a razor head?

Alternative music group, Coldplay, released a four-track album with all proceeds going to relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina. Cost is $3 on the iTunes Music Store. Download and help out.

NikeTalk has a topic previewing new Nike SB shoes coming out in 2006. One of them is inspired by the volcanic activity on the Big Island. No official name for these SBs, but folks are calling them the “Dunk Hawaii,” the “volcano,” or the “lava.”

Not the best looking shoe, but it’ll sell out due to its homage to Hawaii. Get’em when you can!

Almost forgot, the new series, Bones, starts tonight at 7:00 on Fox. Will it be a keeper?
Update: Only caught a few minutes of the beginning, and I’m not sold. Maybe it was me, but I had a hard time understanding what they were saying (too much iPod use? thanks du575). Didn’t like David B.’s stubbly look. Are you trying to copy Mulder from the X Files? And the rest of the cast, oh so not pretty. Doomed, doomed…
A rumor in Newsweek (does Newsweek do rumors?) has NetFlix and Tivo partnering up to offer downloadable movies via high speed Internet connections. May have to renew our NetFlix subscription and get us a Tivo.
Kanye West may be rhymin’ that diamonds are forever, but it ain’t so for this OG. Decided to sell my Tiffany Diamond Dunks on eBay, and a shoehead in NY won the prize.
One more look at my precious…

Ever seen the movie Office Space? I’m living this nightmare right now. Came to work and found my desk had been dismantled and taken away and my personal stuff left on the floor or scattered around.
Where’s my red stapler?
Caught up with recent talks about stars, Jessica Alba, Kalai Miller, and the KITV news dudes, I’ve been inspired to report more celebrity news.

Are they or aren’t they? Rumors have been flying about the state of marriage between Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey. E! Online even posted a report about the two filing for divorce then posted a retraction shortly thereafter. Whatever happens, I’m on Nick’s side. Ever since watching the Newlyweds, it looks like Nick is a cool, grounded dude. But Jessica, you know her boots are made for walkin’.
Okay that was enough celebrity posts, my starstruck phase is over. Back to the real world.
