Id, Ego, and Super-ego Unchecked and Unbalanced
I’m not talking about the Id, Ego, and Super-ego of social media, but the psychological model widely adopted. Being tired and fatigued over for the past few days, I’ve been finding it harder and harder to keep my id, ego, and super-ego impulses in check.
This imbalance makes for some interesting situations at work.

The search for Ben & Jerry’s Schweddy Balls in Hawaii is joyfully over. Go to the Ben & Jerry’s location in Windward Mall and sample yourself some Schweddy Balls. Are malt balls loaded with fudge really that delicious? Find out for yourself at the mall that cares.
As a missionary for Schweddy Balls, I’m sure @abaggy will soon enough sample the Schweddy and provide a lick-by-lick review for the pulpy fans. Until then, I am told that this ice cream is “surprisingly good” by an actual taster of Schweddy Balls.
I Have a Weak Mind and a Buck to Spare
First it was Bertolli’s frozen pasta dinners then it was getting Fergilicious, and my mind grows weaker still.
This time with a buck to spare, I succumbed to the iTunes Genius musical recommendation of Olivia Newton-John’s Physical. Yes, I now own the song that wants to hear my body talk.

While a cup of coffee should be a cared for commodity, I now understand that sometimes a cup of coffee can go to waste.

The future of Best Buy is in office supplies??? Who would have thought, but there were lots of office supplies being sold at Best Buy locations in Hawaii this week.
Is this permanent or just a back-to-school promo? I never would have associated Best Buy with composition notebooks and highlighter pens.
Goggling Google’s Android
I’ve seen many a vehicle emblazoned with an all too familiar Apple silhouette. But never have I seen this, a car sticker of Google’s Android dude.
But good to know that the Google Goggles app accurately identified this green guy.
Still Hunting Schweddy Balls
Aw nuts! I knew it was a ballsy move giving @abaggy the mission of getting Schweddy Balls. I mean this new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor just exploded on the scene, so finding these jewels wouldn’t be as easy as buying tea bags from the local grocery.
Regardless @abaggy was up to the challenge and went hard to get Schweddy Balls while on the mainland. Unfortunately, always on the go nad stuck in meetings, he couldn’t finish with his efforts ultimately sacked.
Even though there are motions to stop Schweddy Balls, the quest continues and when Schweddy Balls are tasted, it will be publicly documented.

Popping Bottles and Other Hip Hop Cliches I’ve Never Heard of
I’m no filthy rich hip hop mogul, so it’s no wonder why I’m not popping bottles. Heck, I never knew what popping bubbles meant as well as many of these other hip hop cliches.
- “Play my/her favorite song”
- “I like it”
- “Duece/Dueces”
- “Animal” or “cannibal”
- “Swagger” or “swag on”
- “808’s”
- “In the club”
- “Turn it up” or “Turn it loud”
- “Put your hands in the air” or “put your hands up”
I’d only disagree a bit with 808’s. Maybe it is a type of drum, but if we’re talking Kanye West’s 808’s and Heartbreak, I have to think Hawaii (area code 808 and where Kanye recorded) had some influence.
