Costco Online Isn’t
Bro, what’s up with Costco.com? Big box retailer’s online presence is anything but online. You can view products but try adding anything to your cart. Nothing happens, except for error messages.

After each error, you need to reload the page, possibly losing that next step in the checkout process. I guess Black Friday shopping has really moved online.
Update 10:17am. After one hour of trying, I finally got a successful charge and checkout. I’m done.
Holiday Gift Guide 2019 Star Wars x Levi’s
I know the Force is strong and seemingly every Christmas, Star Wars-themed products flood the holiday market, and 2019 is no different. What Star Wars fan wouldn’t want a denim Levi’s jacket emblazoned with Luke, Leia, and some Star Destroyers?

November 1 is the day to shop for your Star Wars fan, and no lie, these Levi’s logo shirts are very cool.
IBSFH Footaction Online
Imagine being a shoe fiend in Hawaii (IBSFH), successfully ordering a hyped shoe on Footaction.com, only to have it cancelled. The shoe, the Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard 3.0 in this case, is secured right? Well, from my personal experience, NO!
All my past orders with FA have ALL been cancelled. Yes, all of them. Granted, I only go for the sought after shoes on Footaction, so experiences may differ with general release sneakers. My most recent Footaction cancellation was the AJ1 Women’s Satin. But I think I have another cancellation coming up with the SBB3.
After an email confirming my order, I got the first warning signal a few hours later with a follow up email that said this:
It’s taking a bit longer to complete your order. We’re trying to track down your item.
Hang tight and we’ll let you know when we have some news. Don’t worry, we haven’t charged your method of payment yet.
Yeah… my SBB3 order is a goner, and I think I’ll get official word tomorrow. It’ll go something like this:
Thank you for your recent order. I am sorry, but one or more of your items are shipping from an alternate location and cannot be shipped outside of the 48 contiguous United States. Therefore, we are unable to complete the order.
Yes, technically Footaction does ship to all states within the US, but Hawaii and Alaska has to pay a little more as seen on this cost chart.

The main takeaway is that Footaction says they ship to Hawaii. But this has never happened to any of my orders to date.
So imagine being a shoe fiend in Hawaii and only getting cancelled orders from Footaction online.
Holiday Gift Guide 2019 Wizenard Corollary
“A book? A book?!” If that’s the response you got after gifting my first recommendation of the Wizenard Series: Training Camp then here’s the corollary. Tell the gift recipient that after the book is done, then these will magically appear.

With Kobe Bryant as the creator of the Wizenard Series, you had to believe that a Kobe shoe would follow, in this case the Nike Kobe 4 Protro. Initially appearing as a player exclusive for DeMar DeRozan, this wizardry can also be yours for the giving come December 1.
Just watch that lump-of-coal gift of a book amazingly be read the next day.
The Final Rage Cop
Seemingly like most other sneaker fans out there, I whiffed on getting a personal pair of the Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 collaboration. So what happens when you take an “L?” You rage cop. Out of rage, I copped a Starbucks Nitro and a Disney+ streaming subscription. And I though I was done with the rage abated.
I was wrong. Rage still swelled within and released after getting a pair of these Air Jordan 1 mids. Yes, an AJ mid and in women’s sizing. But the Travis Scott-like tones drew me in, and my final rage cop was complete.

For the record, this shoe is BQ6472-030 in Black/Trooper-Sequoia and was purchased from Oneness.
Still Hopeful
Of course, this won’t amount to anything, but one can still be hopeful. Yes, I still have a TS6 in my online cart, ready to checkout.
Will Travis Scott’s online store restock with Air Jordan 6s? Size 10.5 is a little too big, but I’d make it work. Did you manage to snag a pair?
Rage Cop!
After a disappointing encounter with Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 on SNKRS, I had to let out the frustration with some rage cops.
This Starbucks Nitro with Pumpkin foam was my first rage cop.
While this Nitro helped overcome the 4am wakeup call for the TS6 SNKRS draw, it wasn’t enough. So rage cop number two is a (discounted) three-year subscription to Disney’s new streaming service.
No Reflective Clouds for Me
I was realistic with my chances of getting the reflective version of the Yeezy 350 v2 Cloud White, and my expectations went as expected. I didn’t get anywhere wity YeezySupply stuck in queue for way too long. Surprisingly, Adidas made a return to releasing Yeezys (with reflectives no less) with their Waiting Room splash page. At least you feel like you have a shot with this random entry system. Unfortunatley, I was in the Waiting Room the entire time only to see this.
No reflective clouds for me.
Six Years of Hammertime on Krater
Well, I don’t know how to approach this other to say it’s been an awesome six-year run of Hammertime on Krater when Davey, Gregg, and Shawnee debuted their morning show on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. As all us fans have noticed, Davey D, the facilitator of the morning mayhem, has been absent from the air since the beginning of the month. All-hours deejay, Wayne Maria, has been filling in as the non-Hammer in the Hammertime Ohana. And this change will continue as Davey won’t be returning.
I don’t know the details, and really it’s “noneya.” Suffice it to say, it’s been a great, great run of Hammertime that’s evolved since day 1 and saw the OG trio bond and develop the show’s format. The early day’s staccato is now a harmonious flow. Even with the replayed content, the dialog, transitions, music, and yes, even those teasers, seem effortless and help us morning commuters keep our sanity with the hilarity. Everyday’s broadcast is similar but different, giving us listeners a calming regularity but with an anticipation of that laughable Hammertime moment. Yes, Hammertime will go on just with a new (and very capable) member.

If you want to remember how it all started for Davey, Gregg, and Shawnee, take a look back to October 2013 and listen to Hammertime’s five minute early launch.
Stadium Mall to Nuuanu Via the H3
So to see how traffic was, I mapped out Stadium Mall to Nuuanu on Google Maps. Amazingly, Google told me to take the H3 over the Koolaus then go townbound on the Pali. 30 minutes said Google.
I was thinking of taking Moanalua Highway towards Tripler, but Google said that route would take 15 minutes longer. So while a longer route, Google was correct and now I’m early.
Uniqlo x KAWS Restocked!
Did you catch the restock of Uniqlo’s collaboration with KAWS today? I was bummed and somewhat amazed that the initial launch sold out so quickly even causing a stampede.
So I was thankful that I got the tees that I missed the first time around.
These shirts must be in high demand again reading Uniqlo’s guidelines.
I had called the Ala Moana location yesterday and at that time, they had not yet received their shipment. So even though I had to pay for shipping, at least I don’t have to play the waiting game.
