Black Friday Shopping and “Lord of the Flies”
I could only think of the book Lord of the Flies after watching this video of Black Friday shoppers at Walmart.

What a better way to celebrate Turkey Day with a flashback to the classic (and corny) Last Dragon. Here’s Shonuff versus “Bruce” Leroy Green.
Who’s the Master?
I thought I was seeing double when looking at Amazon’s music recommendations. Rihanna’s latest, Loud, is listed twice, but one is the clean version and the other contains explicit lyrics. Which one is cheaper for customers to buy? Yup, the explicit one. What is the message here?
Facebook and its “Like” function has become ubiquitous all over the web. I’ve even added it to posts here. But sometimes, you have to laugh watch out what you “like” in FB and what it tells your FB friends.
Witness this post – the content itself and its display of FB likers.
What is this saying, not once but twice??
Here’s the scene where it went down but at a quieter time.
We visit the Kailua Open Market from time to time, but it looks like I missed the action.
I would never have guessed that you could pick up cool USB flash drives at Macys of all places, actually, the high tech vending machines in some of the Macys locations. This is the first time I’ve seen Mimobots and Driver flash drives in real life.
You never know when you need to carry your iPhone around while wearing nothing but your boxer shorts, but when it happens, you might as well be wearing the ScottVest Travel Boxers. Although this isn’t the most original of ideas (see the iBoxer and iPanties), the construction of these look comfy.

Carnival’s on-board mascot entertainer, Fun Ship Freddy, surely had his work cut out for him on this nightmare cruise aboard the Carnival Splendor. No power, no hot food, no hot water, malfunctioning plumbing, no elevators on the multi-level ship – yikes!
Here are some pics of the Splendor on better days.
This could be a missed opportunity for both the Hawaii Five-0 television series and toy company Ridemakerz. Sadly, Ridemakerz does not offer a customizable version of the Chevy Camaro featured in Hawaii Five-0. Ridemakerz offers Corvettes, Challengers, Mustangs, and Vipers but no Camaros.
Woulda been kinda neat to give a 5-0 toy Camaro to car enthusiasts for Christmas, or kids coulda played “Book’em Danno!”
Anyways, here’s the Camaro in action.
