The Sole Still Burns at Niketown Waikiki
is that right? Midweek says the Niketown in Waikiki is still open even though it was announced the store would close in May 2009.

To accompany the wedding on Lanai are songs hand picked by the bride and the groom. You can now find these Lovely Lanai classic keepsakes online at the iTunes Store.
Since the local movie, One Kine Day, was filming in the neighborhood, I went to take a quick look. There was a lot of equipment and staff, but I didn’t see too much of the actual filming.
You can see not so exciting pictures of the filming here.
Silly me for not knowing what apps I have on my iPhone! I had forgotten all about Pano during the first days at the Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay. I did remember while at The Lodge at Koele. Here are some panoramic views at Koele.

The beach scenery from Manele Bay would have made great panoramics. Next time… 😉
While driving in the Kailua area, I came across these mysterious white trailers and cordoned off streets. Was this another Samsung commercial? Was LOST back in session?
Nope. Doing some quick Googling led me to “One Kine Day” produced by Haolewood Productions. This local (and self-admitted low budget) film centers around a local skater, his pregnant girlfriend, and their lives “off the beaten path of modern society.”

No rest. Back from @fslanai, now off to @kinwah, then later in the week @touchofiolani! What a week!
